Two-factor authentication is a method for access control where a user is only allowed access after presenting two separate proofs of their identity.
Verji supports two-factor authentication through SMS or app.

Using SMS for two-factor authentication
You will see a screen with recovery codes. It is important that you save these codes as it is not possible to recover them later. If you lose these codes, your account and your messages will no longer be available.
Use authentication app
- Click 'Bruk autentiseringsapp'
- Download the two-factor authenticator app Microsoft Authenticator, or Google Authenticator from your phone's app store.
- Open the two-factor authentication app you just downloaded and scan the QR-code or enter the key shown in Verji into your authenticator app.
- As soon as you have scanned the QR-code, or entered the Verji-key, your authenticator app will give you a unique code. Enter this code to confirm in the box called 'Bekreftelseskode':
Deactivate two-factor authentication
After logging in, you are able to deactivate two-factor authentication if you should wish to.
